Festive Florals

Christmas is a time for sparkle, shine and an awful lot of tinsel. You might have started to decorate your homes and offices already with an over-sized tree and fairy lights hanging from every available banister and doorway, but how can you incorporate flowers into your decorations?

Christmas colours

We all know that red and green are the most obvious Christmassy colours, so these would be great to incorporate into your floral decorations. The great thing about this colour scheme is that it’s not hard to find in the world of flowers. You can easily find a beautiful display in these colours that would give your office a festive feel.

Don’t think that red and green are the only colours you can use, though. Why not try using white in your decorating? We think this gladioli bowl looks like it’s had a dusting of snow!

Festive flowers

One way of adding some festivity to the office is to use flowers that just scream Christmas. You could use poinsettias, which are widely regarded as specifically Christmas flowers, or for something a little different, why not use roses? Roses are versatile flowers that seem to lend themselves to plenty of other holidays, but we feel that a bunch of roses would look fantastic in a Christmas display. We absolutely love this rose cube.

Seasonal shapes

Try thinking outside the box and using shapes to your advantage. You could get a dracaena plant and decorate it with fairy lights or tinsel, as you can keep it after the festivities have finished. Perhaps you could go for something completely different and get one of these alium and gerbera vases. We think the big round heads of the alium look a little like Christmas baubles!
